Executive Decision-Making 20/20
Decision-Making 20/20 implies having the foresight to evaluate the past, understand the present and achieve the future. There are only two classifications and seven types of decisions that are typically made in a business situation. The key to successful decision-making is to know when to use each decision process, and more importantly, which processes others are using. This four-hour interactive workshop includes an analysis process and a systematic methodology for evaluating alternatives. The workshop was presented at the National Conference for the Institute of Management Consultants in Washington, DC.

Organizational Assessments for Strategic Alliances, JV's, Mergers or Acquisitions
According to recent reports by McKinsey & Company, Coopers & Lybrand, the American Management Association, and the European Journal of Industrial Training, 75%-83% of strategic alliances, mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures are considered a FAILURE as measured by a return on shareholder value. This workshop is targeted specifically to executive management who are responsible for successfully implementing these activities. Many executives base their strategy decisions upon the legal and financial aspects of the partnership; however, research indicates that organizational differences are often the determining factors of success. This interactive session includes a discussion of the HISTOB-PEP2™ analytical method which consists of approximately 2500 Key Indicators that should be examined when making a decision to enter a strategic alliance, JV, merger or acquisition. This proprietary comprehensive analytical process includes the identification of differences related to organizational structures, operating procedures, strategic initiatives, and country and/or corporate cultures. Portions of this presentation were recently presented to the Pinnacle Peak Rotary Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
