Judges will be flying in to rate the more than 200
horses entered in the show.
Founded by
Hermeen Peterson and Joan Solheim in 1983 when they
invited 20 other mini horse enthusiasts to join them,
this year the Touch
of Class is actually two shows in one! The first
show is March 28 and 29th, followed by a second show
March 31st and April 1st.

The Touch of Class
Miniature Horse Show is held in the beautiful
Westworld
Equestrian
Center
in
Scottsdale.
The show features more than 200 miniature
horses competing in over 90 classes. The Supreme
Halter Horse will be crowned and the Colonel
Templeton Memorial Trophy for open pleasure
driving will be awarded as well as many ribbons
for various classes.

Even the
intermission is exciting with special guest
appearances from such groups as Horses Help, Arizona Search Dogs, trick horses and
miniature horses pulling vintage coaches and
demonstrating their techniques.
